Bug Report - Photonic Reinforcement Personal Space Trait not working correctly

I have a science captain equipped with Personal Space Trait "Photonic Reinforcement" (Increases Photonic Fleet summons from 3 to 4).
On use of Photonic Fleet with Space Trait Photonic Reinforcement equipped, 4 photonic ships materialize. The additional ship provided by the space trait instantly explodes and despawns before engaging in combat, however, reducing photonic fleet back to 3.
This is an expensive personal trait on the exchange so I don't know anyone else who runs it. Is there anyone else using the trait able to confirm if this is happening for them, or isolated to my character maybe?
