PS4 Pro - Boff engineering manual Medical Generator III locked/glitched.

in PS4 Gameplay Bug Reports
After acquiring a boff manual "engineering medical generator III" the game does not recognize I have it; for any boff engineer in any location: social zone, ground or space. Moreover, the manual icon is blanked out on the training list popup where you activate it, which shouldn't be. Logging out/in does not resolve the issue. This seems permanent.

Additional findings: after deleting and redownloading STO the issue is still unresolved. I assume it's a glitch in my progress file server-side.

Boff manuals usually have the description added saying e.g.: "slot: commander" or "slot: lieutenant". When I highlight this manual that info is *not* there.

    The manual must be in your Inventory, not the Bank, for the system to recognise it.
    If you have more than one copy of the manual, they must all be in your Inventory.

    Can you share a screenshot of this? It might help to pin down the issue.

    It was in my inventory when I tried, not bank or account bank. This is definitely a glitch.

    I don't have ss online to link through url but the responder of arc game support has them. He was the one saying I should report this issue here so the devs may follow up on it.

    An online image host such as imgur.com can help you there - upload the files and grab the bbcode to share the images here.
    We often find here on the forum that we players are able to help each other out much more quickly...

    UPDATE: other players are encountering the exact same issue with other training manuals on XBox.
