Federation elite starter pack grants wrong Boff?

I chose to claim this pack with a toon which has the omega rep male science borg boff.
The picture of the pack indicates the female borg boff. It doesnt say its an engineer until you have it in your inventory.
Tried to unpack it:

"Starfleet borg engineering officer candidate: You may only have one of a unique item."

How are they unique? One is a male, the other is female, one is an engineer, the other is science, one is from reputation the other is from the zen store... This doesnt make any sense.

What am I supposed to do now?

The boff you received is indeed the correct one as it's the only C-Store one there is. You should be able to use both.

As mentioned above, the Engineering Brog Boff is the same one as in the Z-Store. If you already have that Boff, then you can't have a second copy.
The Science Borg boff is irrelevant.

The borg officer in the pack is the engineering version. Please do check if you already have the boff in your candidate roster or in your already commissioned officers.
