I don't know how this badge is supposed to function. When I first earned them (last year) males had three color options females two.
I just tried to use the on a new character/crew, and males have three color slots, but only access to two colors (from the expanded color palette). Females only have access to the basic "metal"/badge colors.
Personally, I prefer having the expanded color palettes, due to being able to color-code the badges by profession (blue-science, gold-engineering, red-tactical).. but I fear that any "fix" will just remove those options.
Is there any hope of keeping the multi-color palette, for both sexes?
