Your purchase failed because we are processing a previous transaction

So this is very angering to be honest.

I was going to purchase zen from steam when I decided to lower my purchase from 2000 zen to 1000, and I keep getting the error message "Your purchase failed because we are processing a previous transaction" after I had canceled in the steam store. I cannot make any purchases. When I tried to make one after the thing finally timed out, I instantly and immedietly got "Your purchase timed out". And now it's doing the same thing again. I am unable to purchase Zen because of this.

Whats going on here? It's like the zen store has decided to just malfunction hardcore, I've never seen this happen before.


Thinking of ideas from lots of games for, dunno how long now.

    I have the same Issue, as I am trying to get the funds into STO for the Agile Classics bundle. I contacted Support and they told me that I should talk to Steam Support. I did, and have my heard back from Steam yet.

    Having the same issue, been 2 days now.
  • I can confirm; experiencing the same issue. I submitted a ticket earlier today, and received a reply already. The GM I spoke with informed me that the developers are indeed aware of the issue, and are actively working on a solution.

    Thanks for this info. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

    Good to hear it's being worked on, hopefully tomorrow it'll be done as a lot of people who are interested in the new bundle will be quite upset if they can't use the Zen Store tomorrow. Would have been nice to have a news post about it though, just to alert people so they don't wind up with a nasty surprise when they try to purchase Zen. I also hope that they extend the flash sale by as many days as the problem has already persisted, both for those who want to partake in the sale, and the sake of lost revenue due to this bug if the sale isn't extended. Rule of Acquisition #295 - "It never hurts to extend sale periods for your faithful customers when you make a mistake that prevents them from making a purchase."

    I should also mention that the issue with the Zen Store has something hasn't been reported here so far... You can't add ships and other reclaimable Zen Store items you purchased on another character to your alternates and main. It'll say " transaction cannot be completed as you don't have enough Zen" if you try to claim a Zen Store item you got on one character to another. So, bit of an ouch right there. Though this one doesn't need compensation as it's really a minor inconvenience at worst, until the Zen store is fixed that is. Wonder how it got screwed up by the last update in the first place?

    Now I decide to try using Arc (since I was going to make a 50 dollar purchase for the upcoming nova bundle, this'll be the last money I spend in a good while), today and it's now stuck in "Pending review". I'm seriously getting frustrated and this kind of anger and frustration I really don't need. Only reason I have time to do this now is purely because work isn't always super fast for me, and i'm working at home.

    So now Arc isn't working.

    Edit: Arc finally processed the transaction earlier today in between this post and this edit.
