Recently I selected the Exceed Rating Limits Trait on my Jem Hadar character. In ship combat with this trait activated I cannot survive for more than 1 min before suffering extreme electrical and hull damage. Is there a way to counteract or just outright disable this trait on PS4 version?
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
Exceed Rated Limits causes the "suffering extreme electrical and hull damage" (DOT) as a built in penalty for using the ability. It's a tradeoff thing.
So you need something that will heal you repeatedly.
A persistent heal, like Hold Together or Hazard Emitters, might help.
It also helps to use higher ranks of ERL, as the higher the rank the lower the damage to yourself. Hull capacity is also a factor, on my Legendary Sovereign ERL works great and I barely notice the damage but when I tried it on my TOS character using the Legendary Connie it was basically a self-destruct (though I didn't have the Stamets-Tilly 2-piece set bonus yet when I tried it on that character, which might also explain the different results). I haven't done very extensive testing with it, I just wanted to mix things up by using a different energy weapon ability on those alts.
