Issues with Starship and Shuttle

I have been having an issue where I can only have either a Starship or a shuttle set for active use not having both at the ready.

    I have been having issue where my small craft vanishes when i switch starships. Hapoens at manage ships and sector space switching. Have to discharge type 7 and reclaim from zen ship to get it back.
