What is with these huge patches?

I make it a total of NINE GIGS the last three days. What the devil is going on?

    I just hope it does not break the game again, like it did with AoD a few years ago.

    I find the announcement of a new season or lack thereof odd. It's like an announcement in pieces that don't go together. Mirror TFO is coming! Lower Decks ship is coming. New season? I haven't heard a thing about that.

    This is very typical...lack of communication, their relays must be broken.

    The pre-patch is different sizes for different people.. I don't know why. Mine was around 1GB total and it's done.. I have no idea why anyone would have to download 9 times that amount. Mine was nowhere close to that much.

    Edit - Patched it on my laptop and it was 4GB.. no idea. :lol:

    I think it is coming in chunks and how much you get of it depends on your connection speed and how often you log in and out. Also, factors like whether one is on PC or Console, ARC or Steam (or the other game collection service who's name escapes me at the moment) probably factor in as well/
