Ambush marker not working correctly (space)

Hello! I just wanted to let you guys know for a day or two I've been encountering an odd issue with the ambush marker command bridge officer ability.
When I place the marker down and a ship moves to it (patrols, deep space, etc) it does not spawn two vessels for 30 seconds. Instead it grants a damage bonus but no ships appear. I mainly use it on my T6 Hestia Advanced Escort (the one that splits into three parts) but it also has the same issue with the Legendary Scimitar as well. Thank you!
