Game shutdowns to Xbox home dashboard screen without warning

So I just purchased the Genesis bundle and decided to ready Kael's Canoe (T6 Oberth). While I am setting things up the game simply vanishes back to the xbox home screen without warning and without even locking up first. It's just straight out of the game. Log back in and the same thing happens, all while trying to outfit the Oberth. 5 times this happened and only while in the Ship Selector on the Colony world. I can run around the colony fine, do the gathering missions no problem. I even ran a TFO and then returned to the colony. But go to the ship selector and start equipping my T6 Oberth the game quits out without warning. All my equipped traits also vanished as well.
I left the colony world and headed for DS9 and used the Ship management there without issue and it hasn't crashed since, except when it lost connection but that is a different issue.
Now I understand Ambassador Kael doesn't like the Oberth, but to allow him to add a clause to the ship where is crashes the game if anyone dares to use the ship, that is taking things a step too far.
At least it appears he overlooked the Ship manager at DS9, I haven't tried the other ship managers so I don't know if they cause a crash as well, but something is definitely wrong with the colony world one, unless it is all sheer coincidence Anyway Kael's Canoe is now flying along as it should, but I am loathe to try the colony or any fleet ship manager again at this stage.
I should add that this is the Xbox Series X (the latest one) I have not tried the earlier xbox to see if they same occurs there. I had also only just started the Xbox so I doubt over heating was the cause, esp since it is freezing cold here (being the middle of winter)
