Update Starfleet Academy?

I’ve been playing STO since it was first launched and have loved seeing the evolution of the gameplay.

That being said, I feel as though Starfleet Academy has been a little neglected and could do with some face lifting..who agrees with me and what do we think the chances of this happening are?

    I would say pretty much zero percent chance. The only reason to do it would be to put housing in there!

    Except that we kinda have ready made housing with our ship interiors... if they ever decide to actually use it. I don't think STO can handle a housing system like FF14 where we can visit anyone's home at will.

    The closest we've got to an 'updated' Starfleet Academy was the Discovery version in the DIS tutorial. But as soon as you leave that tutorial, you can't return to that version of the Academy.

    It wouldn't surprise me if they updated the 2409 Academy to same quality as the DSC academy but that's pretty much all you can expect, there's not much you can really add to the academy functionality wise and I don't see them modeling any additional parts to that much just to be scenery that 90% of the players will never see.
