Strange Sector Space bug

I tried to go to Devos system for the Factory mission (using Transwarp button). Usually even when I don't appear close enough to planets to have the UI come up to enter the star system, it's close enough that it's not a problem.
This time around, I pop up in the Mirish star system. Ok, so I just got to zip over there. Then the ship came to a complete stop, with the warp (and impulse) trails stopping. Using the Slipstream brings up the tunnel effect, but that's it.
After a few more tries, I found out that there is a strange bug were I can only move if the map is black (normally it's coloured reddish-brown, with the sector map grid). So when the map loads in (including the mini-map), my ship comes to a complete stop.
After a few tries, I finally was able to get to Devos without the map loading in properly.
