Can't side with Obisek Resistance as a Reman character

Choosing to side with Obiseks resistance as a Reman character triggers the cutscene where Obisek welcomes the player to the resistance and Obisek then beams out leaving the choice to try to capture him, let him go, or join the resistance still a mission objective with no Obisek to talk to. This forced me to restart and replay the mission choosing to let him go rather than to side with the resistance.

Choosing to side with Obiseks resistance in the Frozen mission as a Reman character renders the mission un-completable.
