Please allow kitbash of intel cardassian ships

Ok, i get that the dominion share a mega bundle pack with the cardassian ships, besides that point that the dominion scale of ships and none of them are relatively of simlar size and shape or have similar ship designs. One too long, one a bit wide, and they are just too different to be able to borrow a nacelle of one and attach it to the other because i won't fit. The pro is the cardassian ships are similar in size, general scale, ship shape and part arrangement of the ship are similar. Rear tail with those nacelles, a triangle head that would be a saucer if it were a starfleet ship, and the basic snake head "cobra" space ship profile to the ship... being the insignia of the cardassian union. Side note starfleet should like make a ship that looks like a large delta in one piece no pylon, no nacelle sticking out. Nevermind that.

I am asking why the heck was this feature not included when releasing these cardassian ships. The ability to create by like borrow the rear fin of one ship and the body of the of another ship and the triangle like head of another. the most minimum of modify a ship. it is also an incentive to buy all three ship even though you only planned to only fly one of them. kinda what happened me buying all the galaxy class variants to get every hull, nacelle, and saucer to kit bash a unique ship. Never ended up using it for my main different play style. I did keep it for an alt.

If the kitbashed ship looks a little off then my rp justification would be the captain took it to an illegal modshop because no sane engineer would cut and paste those boring fuction only design that cardassians that were design for one thing battle. If you want flair and charged a bit too much latinum to add a spoiler, under-glow, and spinning rims... i don't know i wish for this feature.

yeah you can add shield, impulse, and defector vanity visual slot to it but their are only so much variations but the basic shape of the ship is the ship is the same. i am just saying what if the captain was trying to compensate for someing and what a bigger nacelle that other ships had but the ship that had too small of a hull and the thickness of the "saucer" was not to their liking.

Whilst I'd love to be able to swap around the parts of these ships, I believe it has been mentioned before (somewhere) that the interchangability of the ship parts from these three ships isn't possible due to them being completely different sizes.

Unfortunately, they look similar in the ship editor and when flying in space but if you compare the three of them to another ship, the size differences should become obvious.

Hey thank you for read my post. Anyway to address your insight. yes they are slightly different sizes as i said in my post but close enough that i could be possible. i mean look at they first gen starfleet science intel ships.. those starfleet one. I never got into them but i believe i remember being told that one of the ships can't attach anyone of the parts from the other ships i think it was the defiant looking one. the four nacelle one could attack most parts from the other two ships and i think the donut shape one could only switch up the nacelles taken from the four nacelle one. again was told this never wanted those ships cause it was a sleak concept but it looked like a true kit back of random ships without the details you find on a starfleet ship. it was too flat.. yes stealth i guess but there nothing from that popped for me.

anyway they were not the same shape, length, class or had anything similar except for the really blueblackgreysilver paint job. One was a escort, one was a science ship, and one was a cruiser but some parts magically can but used on other. all i am asking is for the same ability to be applied to those cardassian ships. i mean step one of the ships are generally the same ship. you have a tail nacelle. if this was model building you would cut the tail off one and glue it to the ship that needs a different tail end. probably not a urgent thing but hope a dev sees this pose and thinks hmm... a side project to thinker around with but don't plan to release until they have a blank in something and the something that would go in the zstore got delayed on was set to release but time crunch bamm make some quick cash and add some time by introducing this function that keeps fans happy and get paid for the short term.

It's not possible.

Many of the ships that are made for the game are designed with more than a single ship theme in mind. Take the Constitution, Excalibur, Vesper (etc) as an example. They were designed to be interchangeable with each other; the ships are the same size, and I've no doubt that the various aspects of them (nacelles, saucers, hulls etc) were checked during the design stage to be interchangeable with each other.

The Cardassian ships simply weren't made this way; they were instead designed to be stand-alone ships, and thus aren't compatible with each other. It's not just their size. It's the same reason you can't slap a Galaxy Saucer on an Excelsior Hull and give it Defiant-themed engines. The Cardassian ships just aren't meant to be interchangeable. They were made to please a minority where there's not a huge influx of cash, and they've done just that.
