Star Trek Ascendency code expired

I've recently purchased a copy of the board game Star Trek Ascendency, which was new and sealed. Inside there was a promotional code that was to provide a ship, section 31 uniform, an r&d pack and a gamma duty officer pack.

I tried inputting the code into the Arc client and was told the code had expired. There is no mention of an expiry date on the promotional leaflet, so was curious when it did expire and if there were any way to still receive the items.

Long shot I know, but hey. Worth asking

Promo codes always come with an expiry. People were talking about it on reddit 2 years ago.
