Intermittent game crashing to desktop with Incident ID 367570. Crash has happened 3 times over the past 2 weeks. Every time the crashes occur when entering the Jail on DS-9. Nothing wrong with system and all preliminary Level 1 help desk items were addressed. Posted here per Arc Support Ticket.

Firstly make sure on demand patching is turned off and force verify. Youi may have your graphics turned up too high. try lowering them. I presume your graphics driver is all up to date

This game is 11 years old. I don't know on what potato you would have to play to make it not enough. For me game started crashing about a month ago. Btw just today game crashed on the same site, when I visited the jail on DS9.

Just giving the preliminary advice for starters. Have read that some others crash at the DS9 Jail too, but first try to eliminate a few things.

Thanks for the advice. If you would have read my initial entry I stated that "...and all preliminary Level 1 help desk items were addressed.". So just to confirm... I turned off on demand patching about a year ago, and again and my graphics setup is the same setting that it has been since I have owned the card and played the game (that was a while ago) and I have constantly kept the driver updated per Cryptic's DEV responses to other issues. If the game has done something to fowl this up then that is on them and not on my graphics card. I have gone through all of the preliminary b.s. to eliminate the standard tier 1 responses. I have received 3 more crash reports in the last 2 days, all while moving on DS9 (coincidence?). The last crash report was 370d99. If this was a graphics issue I would expect it to crash while in a fur-ball in a TFO of scenario and that has not happened.

Some have seen their issues resolved since about the 11th, yet I know it still many others are still effected.

Cause there's at least 1-2 threads still being created, all I can do is advise you log a Arc Support Ticket as shown in the thread above, and also follow the instructions for uploading a Dxdiag (Report) from Direct X tool in Text format showing all your Graphic Drivers, Direct X details, and others that help Arc to forward info. Hopefully they also escalate to Tier 2.

If they do not escalate to Tier 2, perhaps try and request they do so, especially if you've included the Dxdiag report to them in Text format!

I hadn't gotten a crash since 6/11 but had one today Incident ID 371d7b.

Perhaps I'd just been playing less though, perhaps like some.

I did log a Support ticket with a DxDiag report and requested it be elevated to Tier 2. I was directed to put in a Bug report here...

Well, today I was sitting at the Bank on DS9 moving some items around between my Bank and Account Bank and guess what... I was the proud recipient of another crash to desktop; Incident 377257.
