The Search - Profit Motive stuck at "Open Door"

Mission: The Search
Mission part: Profit Motive / "Open Door"
Once I have rescued all three of the Karemman personnel and gather at the door to continue the mission, I am stuck at the "Open the Door" part.
I go to the door, the Karemmans are standing around and I am within the green circle on the mini-map by the door but there is no interaction to open the door to finish the mission. I am on a KDF Recruit DSC Klingon (if it matters?) when I am running into this incident. I've played this mission previously on other characters and have been able to complete it, but that was a while ago when Gamma Quadrant first came out.
Also, I tried beaming back to the ship and re-entering the map, as well as dropping the mission and starting it over. (all of the usual quick-fix stuff) Neither of those worked. I also tried re-verifying my game files and trying again, still to no avail. The mission simply will not let me continue beyond "Open the Door."
Is anyone else having this particular issue with any of their KDF Recruit captains or any others? I put in a ticket and they recommended I report the bug here as well.
