MIssion "A Step Between Stars" Has Choppy Audio

During the section of the mission "A Step Between Stars" played out on the Station with Tuvok and Dr. Cooper, the entire sequence has audio that is choppy and distorted.
I cannot help wondering if it's due to the amount of background audio being played during that sequence of the mission.

    Who knows... I've been playing sto since it 1st hit ps4 in Sept. of 2016 & I cannot remember when it wasn't like that... choppy. I just mute the volume whenever I have do that mission. They'll never fix it... like everything else.
