Unable to access embassy ops through friend's invite to holding (KDF)

After several attempts of trying to access the ops in the embassy to which I was invited via a friend in his fleet's holding, every time I took the lift to the ops floor, it would get buggy and send me to my fleet's holding, which is only tier 1. He tried re-inviting me to his embassy holding a few times when I was either already in the embassy lobby, or in New Rom system, or in sector space. Once I got into the ops floor, I would immediately see a secondary and unintentional holding invite from my friend and then his toon would immediately disappear. It seems that I can only access his fleet's embassy holding on the lobby floor, and nothing more. If anyone else has experience this issue, lemme know if you found a workaround. Thanks and LLAP.
