Fleet mail is broken

in Xbox One Gameplay Bug Reports
When trying to send a fleet mail, error: subject too long - mail not sent
This happens no matter the length of the subject. Please fix!

    Do have have permission to use fleet mail, check with your fleet admiral to see if your rank can use fleet mail.

    This is actually a bug on console and was fixed for PC last week. It also is considered a known issue on the 3/2 console patch notes.
