Battle cloak bug

Enhanced battle cloak tend to get stuck in cloaked mode. Happens randomly in roughly half of my fights. Nothing can be done to uncloak. Not manually decloak, not bounce into enemy, nothing. The bug will just as randomly wear off.

    its not only the enhanced cloak.. it happends on every ship, i have tryed so far!
    in that case, the only way to decloak is, to activate something (with x button).. but if there is nothing to activate, a mission has to abandoned, or in a tfo, we have to wait untill it is over :/
    this is quite a problem now, since we have to do 2500 kills after decloaking for the recruit event..
    devs, pls fix

    Have you tried unslotting the Hunter's Instinct trait? There tends to be a problem on PC with that trait which of course goes to console in a port.

    The cloaking bug has been a thing for us since I started playing last summer, maybe longer. So it's highly doubtful that the trait is causing it for us on the console side.

    On darkly humorous note, the X-Box and PlayStation bug forums have multiple "cloaking is broken" threads thanks to the recruitment event requiring cloaking, and putting the bug in the spotlight.

    I see that the cloaking bug has been a thing for you guys in those threads, we also have a problem of cloaking on PC. On PC, we have had a problem connected to Hunter's Instinct from the Klingon Recruitment Event which appears to be resolved. That is why I mentioned it. So you are right this Klingon Recruitment Event is exposing this bug further.

    we had this problem long before the recruitment event (almost since gamerelease on ps4).
    btw, i not even have this trait slottet, and still have this problem

    Yes I'm experiencing this too. To narrow it down a bit. The issue is with Battle cloak getting stuck while cloaked. The standard version and enhanced version are working properly. Battle Cloaking has been a issue sense the game launched on ALL platforms. PLEASE fix this considering there are now cloaking starship traits that do not work because of the known issue with cloak getting stuck. If one wishes to disable the stuck cloak there is a work around by using the sci boff ability mask energy signature but you have to waste a science slot to do so, not cool..
