The thread title has the info, but to expand on it:
The Klingon Recruit Reward for "Hunter's Instinct: 50 Ambush Kills" is a Purple 'Very Rare' Bridge Officer.
However, as with all those purple bridge officers that have only one 'Superior' trait (all Gorn, some Nausicaan, some Lethean, most Saurian, etc.), she changes to a Blue quality Bridge Officer when commissioned.
It's quite disappointing that, yet again, we see a bug that has existed within the game from the beginning going unfixed or even acknowledged.
It riles up my Hunter's Instinct...
It would also be nice if she was reclaimable from the Temporal Agent like the Delta Recruit Phiotonic Bridge Officer.

The rarity won't affect it if it is the same "version" of the ability, yes. For example a Rare with Superior Romulan Operative will have the same bonus from Superior Romulan Operative as a Very Rare. However, when changing from Very Rare to Rare in the case of the KDF Recruit Reward Bridge Officer, it drops the Space Warfare Specialist down to Basic Space Warfare Specialist, which would make a difference according to the wiki.

I'm guessing that will also come to us on consoles either this week, or in the patch that comes after...
