Klingon Boff default appearance in mission dialogue windows

I started up a new Klingon for the recruitment event, and after I got my first boff I changed his appearance like always, and he looks the way I changed him in everything except for mission dialogue pop ups. Same with all of the "story" boffs.

Tried to search to see if this was a known issue or something happening on my end, but I didn't find anything.

Any ideas?
