Since the last update I have had to click 8, 9, 10 times before the game even registers the fact I am trying to click on skills. I don't understand why this is still an issue and is making the game almost unplayable. With the amount of money me and other players spend on this game you would think it would run better. I would like to see this fixed and other things fixed before anything else gets patched in that breaks it further. thanks!

Others in my fleets have this same problem, and they also stopped supporting the game financially if not left it altogether for practically any other game that has proper gameplay with fully responsive and reliable controls.
Imagine trying to drive a car but your steering wheel inputs often don't register, the gear selector won't shift in the proper gear, and the pedals won't always engage. Yeah, that car is not fit to operate. AND NEITHER IS STO AS A GAME.
Suffice to say I no longer support the game financially since many years ago, and am only playing it casually to squeeze some of the last bit of fun to be had.
Keybinds help a little, but spamming an entire row of abilities isn't very strategic except for boosting alpha strikes and emergency repairs.
The list of game breaking problems only continue to mount, with the latest being random target acquisition loss, which is very "FUN" when it interrupts your firing cycle or wastes abilities.
If STO wins anything, it's for the most perpetually broken game ever.
Skills will also just fail to activate at all, but have the visual of a click (whether it's the mouse or a keypress), i.e. the button goes dark for a second, but then no cooldown starts and no skill happens.
The latter may just be ever-present LAAAAAAAG but the former is definitely rude.
