Tactical Flyers - Attack & Bug Instance ( Infected Conduit )

Upon spawning tactical flyers before the briefing they auto attacked the borg ships, which in turn pulled them closer.
This then caused the instance to bug as the ships were already destroyed before the first stage of the mission "Destroy Borg ships"

Any help appreciated or info if this is common?
