Ship batteries and devices randomly unslotted.

Ok I've tried everything I can on my end and nothing helps.
This issue has been reported repeatedly over the past year or so and has yet to be fixed.
Ship batteries and devices move from my ship to inventory after any map transition. And the oddest thing about it is that if I have a stack of 20 batteries, 19 will be moved to my inventory leaving just one still slotted on my ship.
I have been using the "Energy Amplifier" and "Kinetic Amplifier" batteries. With a stack of 20 in each slot. Make a map transition (on ground maps too) and now 19 of each battery have been removed from my ship and placed into inventory. So I re-slot them, log out, reload the launcher and do a "Forced Verify", re-enter the game and all batteries are where they are supposed to be until I make a map transition and bam, batteries unslotted again. Sigh.......this is getting old.

I can confirm this often goes on with Weapon Turrets as well. Seems to happen regardless of the ship loadout and when swapping ships, will suddenly and arbitrarily do so dumping anything >1 to Character Inventory.

I get this too. It appears to be related to something with the way ship load-outs save information about items previously slotted in those positions. I find that if I remove all the batteries, and then replace it with a fresh stack of 20 items, it stops doing that. Simply adding a few items to the stack will confuse the game, and it will not keep the correct count. So if you need to refill batteries, just pull them all out, and put a new full stack in the slot, and you should be ok.

I've tried that as well, didn't work for me the problem continues.

Hm. Be sure you are not mixing any of the old batteries with the fresh ones, even after you pull them out. Try it with a completely new, full stack of batteries.

As stated in my original post, I've tried everything on my end. Been playing STO for 8 years.

Same here, random items relocating off the ship and into inventory, noticed it happen when first equipping a ship and moving to space.
