The revamp isn't event what it says on the tin. The raid on the Mars shipyards was my fave mission, now they have gutted it and removed the shipyards.

It's just a few ships with mars in the background now. They have basicly cut content under the smokescreen of a "rework"

Shame about the raid on the Mars shipyard as it was one of my favorite missions as well.

Shredding fed ships in a Bird of Prey never gets old

Hopefully the part where you rough up Captain Hollingsworth and then scuttle his ship was left alone. I really enjoyed that part as well.

Nope, they ruined it aswell. It's reduced to transport to the bridge, defend it from a few waves then the captain just folds.
It's almost like the essence of what it's like to be a true Klingon is gradually being erased... during YoK of all things. Soon they'll have us doing humanitarian aid missions and delivering decorative flower arrangements.
    ...the captain just folds.
At least the fed captain is accurately portrayed.

All these white knights claiming YoK is some kind of commitment to KDF. All they are doing is making the early KDF missions shorter, cutting content. Perhaps it's to make the game smaller and easier to download for the new feddy bear cubs?

If they touch the Fek'iri chain then the best part of being KDF will be gone.

I am BITTERLY dissapointed at how they ruined the mars mission, I used to run it just for the sheer fun of it, digging out my old B'rel.

This YoK TRIBBLE is nothing more than an exercise in cutting content while throwing a few new renders at us like scraps from the feddy bear table.
Completely agree with you about the Fek'Ihri missions. They are important and defining parts of the KDF experience and showcase some of Cryptic's finest work.

I find it funny the feds are posting pictures of their wine tasting parties and little girls crying. Both seem thematically correct to me at least. One can only hope they'll stick to fed toons and perhaps spend more time in the tailor adjusting themselves.

apparently her sarcasm is lost on you.

do any of you really think whining about what you are or are not going to get out of this matters one whit to the Devs?

Seriously, if you klingon fanbois are that upset, stop playing the game, Life's to short to have temper tantrums on a frigging forum

I'm not upset, whining, nor having a temper tantrum. Apparently my sense of humor is lost on you.

Also, player respect between factions is a two way street.

i.e. what's important for one person may not be important for another but perhaps respecting others opinions might be important here, whether you agree or not and whether you enjoy the KDF faction or not.

No one here is white knighting, but ships are the last thing on my list of Klingon content, however I agree on keeping the Fek'iri arc as is.

Klingons get little content in general, I'm still waiting for some new hair styles, why do Klingons have little unique options other than dreadlocks? We never really seen any Klingons actually wear them on screen.

    Got one updated uniform...

If they don't intend to add a lot why even call it the year of the Klingon? To get players excited then to laugh as that excitement dies? If it's mundane update why not give it a more mundane name? Year of the Klingon sounds big and exciting...we've gotten the opposite of that.

Don't take it personally OP, they put the word 'klingon' in a theme and thats all we'll get.
Remember, they 'unified' the factions so the feds can get our exclusive stuff then decided the verse was too quiet and though the klingons should fight themselves instead of the federation.

I agree to that. From the day one (ten years ago) i can't paint my uniform on green, purple or any other color than red, blue, yellow, brown, and black... i understand Kilingon basic fur uniforms (after all they have some problems with fashion, even with personal hygiene), but this from lock boxes, events or mission are locked in this limited palette too... at least this one that i have... the same goes for Fed BOFFs from T4 diplomacy achievement, they too have locked palette.

The same goes for hair, and uniform/clothes option... well for Orion is the opposite (lack of them;))... but still i wish i have more option to choose.

Also bridges section (in ship customize panel) for Klingons was forgotten long ago. There is no new ones form how many years (8-10 ?), and most of them are old, from TNG era... which are not accurate (well Gagarin bridge is inaccurate too), and full of red... what is this a NOD fan club ?

Bortasqu bridge is nice, but where it is located, hundred of meters above ship, or in separate bop on its back, or more accurately in its necceles... its so inaccurate, that it hurts.

Simply in my opinion Year of the Klingon is nothing but click-bait, or as a name, is just a smokescreen to cut mission content, and call for white knights defenders to shut up any criticism that will come...

Logically take Discovery era, and what we got from it, full uniform, a few ships including bridges (but not interiors), some missions, and entire sub faction (no recruit event tough), and what we got from YoK, except some revmap, 3 missions, and cutting some others... nothing else... and this is YoK... good joke.

First off, it looks like you wrote everything in inside the quote. Try not to do that in the future, please.

Second off, Discovery is a different thing compared to the Klingons. The uniform was already in the game from when the series premiered, the ships and stuff had to be added, the missions were not 100% exclusive to them (everyone besides them gets them as a simulation, kind of like the Jem'hadar experience the rest of the storyline), and thats the extent of what they were given.

Klingons have had ships in the game for years, but their content is aging and it showed how bad some of it was. They cut 2 missions completely as they were redundant and played exactly like existing patrols (they were space only) and merged another two (Second Star to the right, straight on 'til morning & Keep your enemies closer) so they didn't lose a lot of content there.

There are also 3 missions still coming with the anniversary too.

There is so much that the Klingons can use without just adding a bunch of new ships onto their roster but the Devs don't do that...I guess it's the "Year of the Klingon" because we're gonna spend the whole next year fight J'ula and her allies.

Because it definitely isn't the year for adding anything truly significant for the KDF...while they shower the Feds with exclusive c-store, lock box, and r&d ships

For TRIBBLE sake they even eliminated the cross faction options that they used to offer the KDF...some "Year of the Klingon" it is

Had the same trying to respond a few weeks ago. I was clearly placing my text out of the quote brakets and yet it was still including them so maybe its best we dont take it for granted these people made a mistake typing/copying

The only only (very) positive is they updated the skins of iconic ships in very good quality that even have details like klingon font. I used to fly and still fly them every day and the difference is highly noticeable. The other thing is we finally got a T6 Vo'Quv but the tricky thing is its the ONLY ship release we got in YoK that concerned us. Visual updates to first city and characters are decent too but not a same level of upgrade as with the ships - still fairly noticeable too. Old bugs still stand(some are "ancient") and new arcs deliver a good story but the "waves" mechanic is very overused on them. I am personally waiting patiently which direction they will head to and if they will stop releasing ships(or almost) for us. Depending how it goes I will probably decide to stay or just play something else after 11th anniversary event cause I wont be wasting more time if we are placed aside. Free time is finite

This entire forum is problematic... and thanks to that we got what we got... "accidents" in our posts;), really i preferred the old one... less problems, more topics, at least it wasn't half-dead.

Returning to main topic, i understand your point, but i disagree with it. Compared to other factions KDF is still buried in the sand, of forgotten/discarded options, and dreams.

I understand why it is as it is, because Cryptic wishes to be too faithful to cannon, and this is nothing good when you wish to split your game to factions, especially factions based on a series focused only on one of them ie; Federation... as one other guy/girl said in this topic, its SW: ToR paradox.

But as i said before, at least unlock uniforms, and appearance palettes for KDF... but no, they wont, the same goes for bridges (once unlocked bridge should be available for all ships)... because they don't have time for that... and again because they are focusing on... hyper-expensive legendary ships (12k zen for ONE ship... zen market is almost crashed... and exchange hit limits long ago... Valkis for 1.950.000.000 ec;)), promo ships, and boxes... not content or game-play, they simply doesn't care.

So we got what we got... almost nothing at all.
