Blank skill slots on BOFFS

Since the last patch 1/3 of my BOFFS are now unusable above Ensign level.
Their name shows up in the slot but the slots are all blank and under space abilities they are all blue Xs as if the slot they are in is rank restricted.

I can get an ensign level ability to slot but everything above that is unaccessable.
I have tried in universal slots, its affecting BOFFS from Warrior to CMDR rank and all were fine before the last patch.

It also affects those BOFFS for ground ability selection, same issue.

Have you done a respec of this character since the House Shattered update?

Yes, i respec`d all my toons post the house shattered update. Fault still apparant.

Yup, having the same issue even after a respec.

I find this happens on occasion and switching to a different boff and back agan usually 'clears' whatever causes the block.
Clicking the "Reload Defaults" button to get whatever skills you've set as default for them often helps too.
Another thing to try is to change their specialisation, if they have more than one, then change it back.

Fixed it, realized it was only affecting BOFFS with specialist skills, switched their default skills to speciality ones and hit reload defaults and it fixed the lockout. Thanks for the suggestions.
