Need help fighting Vaadwaur

    The problem is we don't know the full story.
    We have all offered to help in one form or another. For my part asking about the build was to see if things were matching up, or if there were abilities that weren't going to help against the Vaadwaur. Like if they had Emergency to Shields where Reverse Shield Polarity would probably be far more useful. That was my thinking. You can dang near nullify at least one artillery barrage with just one click of RSP if you know for a fact you're not gonna be able to clear the AoE in time.

    Long term vs immediate. *shrug* Either way that particular hurdle has been dealt with.

    Seriously though... Up until the old Romulan arc my favorite tactic in my shiny new T3 cruiser was to dump Warp Plasma to catch ships and drop mines right in their face. Then the D'Ds came and wiped the floor with me. Spent most of the Romulan arc afraid to go within 5k of a D'D. I didn't discover Polarize Hull until later. Now its one of my standard abilities I try and slot.

    Did they tho...really did they? Because with the UTTER lack of sharing ANYTHING about what they are doing, that seems like a rather silly assumption to make.

    im in a t6 and all my gear is Mk XII blue or better. using every defensive buff i have still doesn't get me through 10 seconds of those vaadwaur cruisers dropping those blue spacial charges on my spawn point.

    i just don't see how anyone can legitimately tell me that's a fair or fun game mechanic.

    It would help if people asking for help could give more info. Especially when asked.

    Hopefully the information provided by various people has been useful to him - apparently the issue was solved another way.
