arc Sto Launcer bugged

for some reason when arc is running I cant get the game running (gets to where the cryptic loading screen should appear and then just cycles indefinately) I found I can launch from the exe file directly again only if arc is not running.
Any ideas here?

    Try uninstalling arc and reinstalling.

    Just run the STO exe and bypass arc outright, that's what I do.

    I have for a long time ran the game client outside of arc and just log in every day.
    I have also found that i have fewer connection issues bypassing arc client window.
    Yes i still have lag and rubber banding but it seemed to be worse when i was getting in thru arc.
