new audio card

getting a kind of crackling with a SB AE5 plus. it starts just under .25 impulse at about the same in interstellar space, around warp factor 2.5. above either it quite noticeable and annoying. previously I was using onboard realtek with SB X-fi MB3 with no issues. any ideas?

well, dunno what I did, but it's cleared up. there is a hint when cloaking, tho

new sound card and had no issues installing so hadn't expected other to have similar issues. doubt anything'll be done about it cuz it's all cryptic

think I found it. disabled both equilizer and SBX profile and it's gone. dunno if it's permanent or not, tho
edit: also disable encoder
