Section 31 rifle/pistol vaporise?

Are these supposed to be using the Tng style vaporise effect, or should they be using the Dsc style puff of smoke?

    Nothing in game uses the DSC style vaporization effect atm as far as I can tell. So yeah it's intentional that they're using the TNG effect.

    The disrupter version is used on the
    dual nanopulse pistols from the latest episodes, but I’ve never seen the phaser one outside of cutscenes.
