Cannot fire on ground, or in space (Auto Fire)

Recently made a ticket about this. Was asked to make this post.

So, basically I cannot fire while on the ground, or in space. I however found a semi work around. If you click on the enemy, you will be able to fire. However, this quickly fails, and you need to click on them again. I do have auto target on, and its set to non combat cancels.

In space I cant seem to get this workaround to work. Only thing I can do is keep spamming the fire buttons. This of course makes it near impossible to complete the current Become the Red Angel thing. Which I want. Really bad. So I hope to get compensation towards this event.

Anyways, if you have this issue, know of any other workarounds, or anything else, pls post here.

PS: Due to a system failure, I had to reinstall my OS, drivers, games, everything. So a reinstall will not help.

On my new Discovery character my phasers wouldn't fire when I put on the upgraded banks I was given as a mission reward. When I switched them out for the basics everything was fine. It does hurt my early dps.
