Plain and Simple Lobi Bundle

I would totally buy this if it were a legendary bundle like the T'liss that just ended. I would totally buy this if it were a Mudd's Market item with an outrageous price that was heavily discounted for an introductory event.

I have never bought a lobi ship because I tend not to love spending 900+ lobi on a single character item. The appearance and equipment items being single character unlocks is bad enough, but I just don't buy enough keys to have the lobi to spend on stuff like that.

Would have been nice if they added the Cardassian uniform too.

Well Cardassian characters have the Cardassian uniform...so it probably wasn't a priority or they want it to stay exclusive.

It's a pretty awful visual quality uniform though. The quality is so terrible that they may as well have not bothered doing the minimal amount of work that they did to allow player characters and boffs to use it. Hopefully they'll revamp it someday and bring it up to current visual standards that we're used to. Because it's a literal copy/paste of the 2012 Cardassian NPC uniform.

This bundle doesn't make any sense. None of it is worth 1500 lobi. The Keldon while yes a decent ship, isn't worth that much, They've sold Promo ships for 1200 lobi and those 2 were very good ships. The garak boff isn't anything special honestly, its a meh boff that they gave out for free at conventions before. The tech upgrades while pretty good are not something I or anyone I have spoken to would ever spend that much lobi on. And the title? Titles have been useless for years. (I still miss using titles on the forums)

Its just kind of baffling, I don't see this bundle selling well at all. Its like it was made to repulse people from obtaining it. This should have been a mudd's Market bundle it honestly would have been a pretty good deal there.

Fully agreed. I have the Keldon and I enjoy it personally. But 1500 lobi for an average ship with lackluster add ons isn't a very good deal. Even the promo ships were sold for 960 lobi while on sale and Cryptic has HEAVILY hinted that there will be a sale soon. 30% seems to be the biggest discount available these days and at that price, the Keldon would still be 1050 lobi. If it's only 20% off like the promo ships were, that's 1200 lobi. Both prices seem a little ridiculous IMO as they don't compare favorably to other previous lobi offers.

This should have been put in Mudd store or a stand alone purchase from zen

There was a lobi sale only recently so the timing of this reeks of cryptics greedonomic pricing policy. Even if someone got the 1k lobi from the event that is still 500 lobi or 125 gambleboxes to be opened to fill the gap for a bundle that is more than likely per character.

Other convention boffs, like the tos crew, were put into mugs markup so why not do the same with garak, bundle or not.

The upgrades are being spat out with pretty much every promo bundle these days. Mileage varies wildly given the game doesn't push folk to require upgrading to max outside elite unless a player is chasing numbers or succumbed to peer pressure. Those who actually care about such things will more likely be targetting the key bundles and omega or phoenix upgrades.

20% Zen Charge Bonus, 20% Zen and Lobi Store Sales
...like PC's Legendary Romulan Bundle, for cheaper than ever before..

That might cause some rather heated reactions...

i bought the bundle on tribble. sadly you can't change garak's uniform. for a character that was once a tailor i'm surprised customization on uniform/wears is locked. also i noticed the garak holo seems to be wearing jem'hadar trousers/pants and not the cardassian uniform ones. also the space trait photographic memory is the same as basic boffs in game.

Insidious is what I'd call this.

If it was zen, I'd have no issue with it but this is lobi - and what is the only constant way to get lobi?

    Lockboxes.

To be honest my alarm bells were ringing with the 1000 lobi prize (but I simply put it down to maybe them offering a route to buy the store items without gambling) but this... this is them trying to further normalise lockbox gambling as the only way to get x item bundles and it royally stinks (more so if you remember how much zen/dil/ec spent on keys it would cost to get 1500 lobi)

I bought it with the 1000 Lobi from event II and the 200 from recent winter wonderland replay. The 20% off Lobi store put it right in the spot.

I am happy with the purchase from Lobi store. Meets all my needs and I did not have to pay any Zen. I now have a Keldon for my Cardassian character.

Apparently you missed the Fed Legendary Bundle where you can get TOS Connie, Discovery Connie, etc. from the C-Store instead of through gambling. And the Romulan Legendary Bundle with the TOS T'Liss skin that was also a promo pack ship.

Cryptic has been "normalizing" more choices for how to buy things, not forcing you to gamble.

Also, you can buy any lock box or promo pack ship from the Exchange without gambling.

These bundles are going for around 400-420M on the exchange..

Honestly, I am suprised it's even that much. It's an ok'ish ship, some upgrades and a Boff for a single character.

Anyone that paid for it in Lobi got ripped off, plain and simple.

With 1k free lobi on the horizon, it's not really a loss.

Sure, as long as you don't consider the other things you could have spent that lobi on.

Thanks! You just saved me the Lobi.

I love, love, Garak as character and want him with my two other favorites one of which is not an option yet. Nonetheless is seems very pathetic a character that has his own shop for uniforms on DS9 would not costume options at all.

On a side note, one day it would be nice to have Garak and G'Kar together in a holodeck program! :p
