Character not doing enough DPS in Space

I am posting this thread because the tech support people asked me too. I have a human male Engineering character that is not doing the same amount of DPS in space as my other engineers. He has Mark 15 all Epic gear. He has a Tac Heavy skill tree. Most of his Space traits and other traits are geared towards DPS. And his Doffs boost tac skills. My other Engineers have the same set up and they deal plenty of DPS. I was told by the people in support that it is a game play bug. They want to know if other players are experiencing the same bug. If you are please post your problem here.

    Have your traits reset themselves?

    The assigned bridge officers could be having an effect here, due to their passive skills - or lack thereof.
