Caitian or Ferasan?

I would like to try a cat. As the title states, should I try Caitian or Ferasan for a new toon?

I have limited time and only have time for one. So, should I go Fed, Disco, or KDF? And why?

I have an established Fed toon from several years back. I have a large amount of T6 ships on Fed, a few KDF T6, and very few Rom T6 ships.

I don't think Disco Fed has access to Caitians.
That being said... Its really up to you. Do you want the access to all the Fed material you've collected? Or do you want a reason to start showing KDF some more love?

You put the hammer on the nail. Yes, being Fed allows me access to the costume outfits, ships, and consoles that I have been collecting. But KDF is a new experience that I never tried. And I am inquiring if it is worth undertaking.

Any comments or advice are welcome.

Having a KDF is, IMO, worth it. STO is pretty alt friendly, and having at least one of each is possible, and even allows for trying different playstyles without changing things on a main.
I may not have Ferasans, but every once in a while I do enjoy getting on my Orion. While getting some things like KDF specific lockbox uniforms is more expensive, access to cross faction Fed consoles and traits like Superior Area Denial for a fraction of the price Feds have to pay is nice.

And this is coming from a Fed main.
