In the sequence when you are fighting the borg queen, the area where the plasma currents circulate seem to be rapidly flashing on and off, making it painful to look at for extended periods. I did record it and can provide the video if required.

I think your thread title described 90% of encounters these days, especially TFOs. This game is nothing but too many special effects, all of which are just too intense.
