Gamma Task Force rep beams trigger shield VFX

For some reason Inhibiting Polaron Beam arrays trigger a shield VFX almost every time they fire. I believe it's the same effect from the Temporal Defense Chroniton weapons, a spinning circle appears under your ship, and then a hexagonal shield pattern appears around your ship. This bug also effects the Advanced Omni Beam, but for some reason not the Beam Banks.

    Am I the only one who uses Inhibiting Polaron? But they look so good on Jem'Hadar ships! I just want to admire the ships without the stupid bugged fx in the way :'(
