Initial Duty Officer Cadre Not Being Granted

I've been working with the Support Staff on the issue I'm having with this bug. I was instructed to create a new thread on the matter. I have posted on other threads on this as well, in order to get my user status ranked up and be able to start a new thread as instructed.

As others have posted in the past, I too have been hit by the bug of not being granted my first batch of Duty Officers from Lieutenant Ferra at Starfleet Academy on completion of the First Compliment mission.

I'm hoping that there's something that can be done about the situation, because I don't want to start off being crippled in a big part of the game's mechanics. I'm a rather new player, still on my first week, but I've already bought into the game for around $70 (the cost of a current AAA game on disc/download after taxes) on the game, to show my appreciation and support for a game that is entertaining me. I'll still keep playing regardless, as the game is fun to play and the content storyline is keeping me interested, but it would be a nice gesture of good-will if the game's creators could do something about this bug.

I created a number of new toons during the weeks of double XP and roughly every third had this issue. I can also add that this does not seem to be a faction-specific problem since I had this happen on Starfleet and KDF toons.

I agree that for a new player this must be a major setback. Long term however you recruit way more duty officers than the normal roster has room for while grinding recruitment commendation. Pretty sure that if you ask for help in zone chat, you'd get some replacement doffs mailed by helpful players.

@developers: Would be super-helpful to be able to attach doffs from overflow inventory to mail in cases like this....

I have had this same issue with two Starfleet characters, one created during Bonus XP weeks and one after, but I do not seem have this problem with initial Duty Officer rewards for Dominion characters. It's not a huge problem but I'm always scrambling for duty officers to contribute to fleet projects so I reported it.

I concur it's more of an issue if you're starting out and I'd be happy to mail a few duty officers your way - if only it were currently possible to mail items.
