Customize ship - Changing the Pylons in any way will show a cost(Long Range Science Vessel Retrofit)

Acquired the Long Range Science Vessel Retrofit via the Tier V token.
Went to customize the ship and when only using the Intrepid, Cochrane, & Discovery parts, changing any of the OTHER parts is fine (C-store cost 0). Changing the pylons either from Intrepid to Cochrane or Discovery parts raises the c-store cost to 3k. Even setting it back to Intrepid keeps the C-store cost there.
Alternately, changing the material from "Upgraded" to anything else also results in a c-store cost of 3k.
I believe this to be some kind of strange bug -- as undoing the changes won't undo the price change.
