As a Reman science officer, I have many of my abilities set to auto-trigger because radial menus are a nightmare to use in combat. In particular, all of my healing abilities are set to auto-trigger so I can focus my attention on my damaging abilities.
Here is the issue. Sometimes my abilities do not auto-trigger when they are supposed to!
Example 1: I was just in Azure Nebula Rescue flying 26th century dread and I almost died rescuing a T'liss... The reason was none of my healing abilities were triggering and I wasn't paying attention to my health. This continued for the rest of the TFO: none of my healing abilities auto-triggered, but my temp op abilities did!
Example 2: Anytime I am targeting a dreadnaught, my abilities set to auto-trigger when my target is a battleship or above do not trigger. Additionally, sometimes my other abilities will auto-trigger, sometimes they won't.
Example 3: Brace for Impact seems to be auto-triggering as soon as I enter combat now, even though it is set to trigger when I love a shield facing.
This has been happening A LOT lately, and there doesn't seem to be any pattern other than what was described in the above examples. I have the same problem on my other characters as well (all Remans).
Does often appear to be hit and miss. Also make sure they are not in your active window as they won't auto trigger if they are (but I'm sure you already know this)
I've turned off many of my auto abilities because it keeps me in combat far too long when I need to be going to full impulse, or the damn thing triggers when I am halfway through releasing a tractor beam

I need most of my auto triggers because I have a very hard time quickly navigating the radials. Especially since, the same abilities are in different places on the radials for different ships that have the exact same loadout.
