Bug Report: Plasma Assualt Minigun

Weapon: Plasma Assault Minigun obtained from The Temporal Front mission of the Future Proof arc.
Bug: It does not allow me to start attacking unless I switch to my secondary weapon first and start attacking with that, then I can switch back to my minigun and continue fighting. It occurs anytime I start a new ground mission on the first encounter of it. Once I have switched back and forth, it auto fires (I have it set to Maintain Auto Attack) as I continue through with the mission. I have also tried to switch weapons back and forth prior to the first encounter and it does not clear the bug. I have to switch after the initial fight start.
