Buyout options for the current T6 Coupon?

I just recently bought with zen the remaining progress from the last T6 Coupon. Now I'm in a similar situation, that I could not finish the requirements.
I was a bit distraught by seeing what appears to be a change in how you can buyout the rest. I missed the first two events, but fully completed the last (and I used old TFO tokens as well). My progress is at 1400. I have no interest in paying 2K zen for some dil and trinket. I don't remember exactly what the direct zen buyout price was but I seem to recall it was cheaper than 2K zen for what equates to my remaining progress.
Can we expect to have a *direct ZEN buyout option* later?
BTW, I'm not seeing the possibility of using more TFO tokens now, on the anniversary event. I only got to use a few on the Borg event, I have plenty left.
