With the 10th Anniversary approaching, I thought it might be interesting to look back over the array of event ships, whether Summer, Winter or Anniversary, which have been available in the past and find out what people's favourite is/was and whether there are any that you still use.
For me, it's the Bajoran Interceptor from the 8th Anniversary. It is, to use Cmdr. Riker's line from First Contact, a "tough little ship" and one that can pack quite the punch. The console that came with it is, for me at least, one of the more useful Universal Consoles around, and although it's not necessarily a regular in my builds these days it does get use from time to time.
The ship itself is the only event ship that I still have in my fleet and although it's not my regular ride these days, I still enjoy taking it into TFOs from time to time, and it still performs well.
The only one which i cannot breen myself to remove from my inventory is the Breen Carrier with the frigate pets.
It is not that the other ships are bad or all look bad, but it is simply that they are not ships originally belonging to the faction i play.
Had the last Fek'lir event ship been able to use a specific pets or ship consoles then i might have used that ship to replace the Kar'Fi in my KDF inventory. Now the event ship has been sent to Grethor.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I am also a carrier fan but missed the breen carrier so I am not sure how good it was or not
From those I got the new Ferang dread carrier is sure among the best. I didnt get it through event but Ryn'kodan which I got through phoenix epic token is one hell of a carrier. Only reason I dont consider it as top is I got it through phoenix and not through the event. Pets seem to work great on it too

The Sarr Theln is a great SCIENCE! carrier and my favorite of the actual ships. Commander science, pretty good turn rate, frigate pets that dive in guns blazing.
Hard to pick. I do really like both Breen hangar ships (full carrier and dreadnought). I had a lot of fun with the Breen Raider back in the day. I enjoy the Vorgon carrier though maybe not as much as the Breens. I haven't actually launched the new Fe'khiri carrier yet, it looks like it might be fun. The Bajoran is, as already said, a tough, maneuverable and punchy little fighter to flit about in.
Overall though I'm a practical guy at heart, and I'd have to say my favorite is the Nandi Warship. Good layout, flexible BOff seating, Dabo/bank/mail/exchange on board. It's not the most fun to fly or fight in, but it's the most practical all-rounder for me.
I still HEAVILY favor my Corvette. My T5-U got used for many years, and as soon as I got it the T6-Pilot became my main. Only real time I do not use it on Shea is when I have the endeavor to destroy destructable torps, for that I use a carrier.
I've missed several years of event ships so I don't have a lot of the newer ones. However the one that remains the most liked is the Risian Corvette. It is fun to fly and is as far as I'm aware, a purely creative design by Cryptic. I find it an interesting thing that is largely ignored in Star Trek, to imagine what private citizens build and fly around, because they aren't flying Starfleet ships, and the Corvette definitely seems like the sort of thing a private citizen would fly.
I made it a point not to participate in the event when that show boat was the reward.
Was unhappy that a party boat had better stats than my beloved Ambassador.

In WWII a lot of civilian ships and boats were refitted as thin-hulled warships in the rush to get more armed ships, and some of them even retained their civilian look (like the Q ships for instance, which were designed to give enemy commerce raiders a nasty surprise).
The backstory for the Risan Luxury Cruiser class, while a bit vague, strongly suggests the same thinking went into its warship incarnation. That's one of the things I like about the kitbash Yeager-class too, its secondary hull is almost certainly a ruggedized civilian freighter, perhaps the Ju'Day class that Chakotay's larger than usual (37 named crew in VOY, probably 40-50 overall) Maquis ship was a modified version of.
Considering that by the TNG era Starfleet dropped the thick armor (according to Roddenberry the TOS Constitution class had 9 inches of tritanium armor over its pressure hull, but hull breach shots from TNG and later show that later ships only have a single-layer hull that is three or four inches thick overall at the most) and obviously depend on shields and SIF systems instead. That would make using a civilian hull for a warship just a matter of upgrading he shield and SIF generators.
As for a favorite event ship, I only have a few (starting with the Ytjara and not missing any since) and it pretty much comes down to either the Ytjara or the Vulcan science ship (though in a looser "event ship" sense the Europa from the cancer charity event is very good too). I have not used the new Fek'iri ship long enough to get a good impression of it yet (except that it maneuvers like a pig).
For a Tac captain my favorite is the Bajoran interceptor. For a Sci captain I love the Lukari Ho'kuun. For a general use ship definitely the Nandi. Not because it is particularly useful as a ship, I have never even earned the trait on that one, but because of its access to the exchange, bank, mail, and dabo. Also it is unique at least I don' think any other ships have six BOff stations.
I do like most of the other event ships too, of the ones I have (I did miss some of the early T5 Breen ships). The Nandi is quite good as a ship. So are the others.
The way this game is, any T6 is 'good enough' to fly end game. Even a lot of T5-T5U ships are also viable. Heck, really good players can do content in T1-4 ships too. So any ship can be made viable.
I am glad we now have scaling ships though.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
I know it just came out but it was the only event ship I was really excited for and the only event ship I pretty much did the event every single consecutive day for from the start, is the Fe'rang.
I love the work done on it from the fire effects to the lovely hull skin and that I finally got a nice T6 carrier where I can deploy ferjai frigates from.
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power
The only one which i cannot breen myself to remove from my inventory is the Breen Carrier with the frigate pets.

I don't know what ship console you are referring to. However the Fe'rang can use the Fer'Jai Frigates, though the Lost Souls with their fire based damage may be among the best hanger pets in the game.
That being said, the Elachi Qulash Frigate, with it's raider flanking, universal seating, and 5/3 loadout is likely my favorite event ship to date from the perspective of the ships flyability(tm). Whereas imho, the Cold Hearted starship trait is likely the best trait of all of the event ships, and the Bajoran Interceptor has the best console.
As far as just the ship itself, I have to say the T6 Chel Bolag Breen ship. However, if I were a new player, and I were praying for a ship to fall into my lap, it would have to be the T6 Breen Raider, so I could use that trait on a different non-event ship. Or maybe the Bajoran ship just for the console.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.
I made it a point not to participate in the event when that show boat was the reward.
Was unhappy that a party boat had better stats than my beloved Ambassador.
Well, now we got the Disco pizza cutter, and the Into Darkness bottle opener along those lines, too, yo.

At the time it came out the Risian cruiser was one of the strongest ships you could get. I still have a fondness for that party boat! I hope we get a T6 version at some point.
Excellent Escorty pewpew ship award: Elachi Qulash
The trait I get for every character award: Vulcan T'pau (Aside from being awesome, it lets your cloaked ships have shields!)
The event ship I probably have the most hours flown in award: Breen Sarr Theln
Honorable mention to the Fek'ihri Fe'rang for probably being the most potent event ship released so far.
My favorites, are ships that I can't get, except via Phoenix Pack as single character unlocks. The Rezreth(I've only gotten one epic token, used it to snag a Rezreth for one of my 3 mains. Still needing two more for that), and the Sarr Theln. I've liked all the Breen ships I own, as well as the S'torr.

I liked the Krenim Science Ship, the one that looked like a dart. It was a little slow to turn, but it hit like a freaking hammer. That was my all-time favorite Anniversary ship. An important thing about this ship was that it offered KDF players a truly formidable Science ship for the first time.
The Flying Dorito from 7th Anniversary was also good. Not as formidable as the Krenim but more maneuverable. The last two Anniversary Ships have been lame, in my opinion.

I have the Dorito from the Phoenix box (along with the flying saucer skin), it definitely is a great little ship even at the lower level I have it at so far (the captain is barely past lvl 30).

We come in peace, SHOOT TO KILL!
Would have been the Dysons but I missed out that event.
Special mentions: Krenim Science Vessel, Lukari Ho'kuun Science Vessel, Bajoran Interceptor.

It's a nice get out of dodge button while continuing to do damage.

+1;
next summer event a T6? that would be logical.
Hope so, I really wanna see Risian ships appear in Risian events, again.
Main battle ships - Breen Carrier, then Vorgon Carrier
I like Carriers
Might I suggest this instead? It has a similar function, heals your hull at a fantastic rate, and adds considerable damage to any build.
