The option "Auto-target on attack" does not work when I have Autofiring active for my ground weapons. I've tested all of them, pistols, rifles, miniguns, etc. When I disable Autofiring my toon auto-targets just fine. I played "Tide of Ice" just now and I had to tab-target like crazy. Not fun.
I've been having this issue since the last update.
Does anybody have an idea what could cause this?

The settings are exactly the same they were before the update.
Ok. Have you toggled on/off the settings that you want, clicked Apply and then tried again to see if it worked on ground maps?
That's the first thing I've tried. Then I re-slotted all of my traits, all of my equipment, and then I reset everything to default. Nothing seems to work. I think I'll try a complete re-install next.
I would suggest instead of a re-install, go to Options in the launcher, check Force Verify, and make sure On-Demand Patching is off, then click Apply. Then wait until the patching is done and see if you can fix the options to the settings that you want again. Before doing this, make a list of the settings that you have currently. Thanks.
I read this after I did a complete re-install.
The re-install did nothing other than max out my bandwidth for 20 minutes.
Other than that the problem is solved.
Playing around with all the control settings did it. Once I set the setting "Face enemy on attack" to 'on' auto-attack started working properly again. What that particular option has to do with auto-attack and autofiring? I don't know.
Thanks for your effort, mate. Cheerio.
I always used "never cancels" before.
Glad to be of service. Sorry you re-installed before I posted what I said. Glad your issue is resolved.
