C-Store Pack and Code Redemption 2.0

Greetings folks and welcome to the code redemption instructions page.

From time to time throughout the year opportunities to acquire codes for Star Trek Online may present themselves through charity events and/or special promotions that award certain items within the game. These codes could be as simple as a code for a ship, holographic bridge officers, or a larger mega bundle pack. With the introduction of Arc, code redemption has been moved to the Arc website and client. If you're one of the lucky folks who have picked up a code and are curious as to how you redeem the code and get your item please refer to the instructions below.

PC Players:
For PC there are actually 2 ways to redeem your codes currently.
1: Be signed into your arcgames.com account and go to the following link: https://www.arcgames.com/en/redeem/
Once the page loads you should see a box to enter your code. If code redemption is successful you will be transferred to a page stating the redemption was successful and you will see a prompt to go back and enter additional codes. Once reaching this screen you may click the button to enter additional codes if you have more than one code to redeem.

2: To enter a code using your Arc Client, open up the client and sign into your Arc account. After the client completes any necessary updates and loads up, you will see in the top right corner of the Arc Client window several buttons. You will see a shopping cart, a small cogwheel, and others. Click on the small cogwheel and click Activate Product. This will bring up a window for you to enter any codes you may have and also allow you to redeem previously claimed keys. If code redemption is successful you will be given a notification that the items have been applied to your Arc account.

Xbox One:
For Xbox players be sure you have the Arc app installed from the Xbox Marketplace. Launch Arc and press the X button. From there you will fill out the field and press Redeem. You should get a prompt that says the code redemption was successful.

PS4:
For PS4 users, log into your account and go to the Playstation Store on the home system screen. From there you should see a "redeem codes" option at the bottom of the menu. Enter your code and press Continue to complete the redemption. If successful you will see a notifications saying it was successful.

Issues redeeming codes:
If you attempt to redeem a code and the code redemption fails, the client will typically note why the redemption failed. Typically this is due to not entering the code properly. If the ability to copy and paste the code is available to you, this can eliminate issues with typing the code in manually. If copy and paste is not available and code must be entered manually, double check that you have entered the code properly. A common mistake for example is a number one and a capital i appearing the same on a printed card and the user entering it as such. If you are certain you have entered the code correctly but it's still not granting access to the item(s), be sure that the code you are attempting to redeem is for your specific platform and/or region if applicable. If you are a console player, but are attempting to redeem a code for PC, you will not be able to claim the items and the code will not work for you. While it's rare, certain codes if not redeemed within a specific time period may expire and no longer be valid. Typically if the code has expired this will be noted by the client when you attempt to redeem the code.

When items are redeemed they will be found typically within the Promotions area of the c-store, though this may vary from item to item. If code redemption is a success but the item doesn't appear, changing maps or restarting the game will typically correct the issue. If additional issues should arise with redeeming your code(s), especially those not covered here, you should contact Customer Service for assistance by opening a ticket. Customer Service may not be able to respond immediately but they will help you to resolve issues the need arises.
