Can't Adjust Brightness, etc.

This is unusual. I have an Nvidia 2070 Super card which has in-game graphics filter overlays. I have been using this feature since getting the card but just recently I get this error:

"A supported game is required to use this feature."

It works in all other games and worked in STO previously. Not only this, but I can't even adjust any brightness settings within STO's options. I can change the slider but absolutely nothing changes.

I have tried full screen, windowed, etc. and rebooted computer .

STO has always had weird graphics issues like how changing the contrast/brightness within the game also changes it on my second monitor, which I've lived with. This has occurred on every system and graphics card I've used (many) since the game came out.

Thanks, but that thread just shows others having similar problems with no resolutions.

I have checked with others in the game and their gamma options work. I have forced the launcher to verify all files. I do not not have any display settings (not working) and STO is listed as compatible in Nvidia's Freestyle list of compatible games and it worked a week ago.
