Phased Tetryon Beam Array character locked?

The info I found relating to Phased Tetryon space weapons being account locked, yet the Phased Tetryon Beam Array Mk XI that I have is actually locked to my character instead of the account.

Has anyone else have this issue? I had also submitted a bug report due to the thing being a bug, but just want to know if this has happened to someone else.

Depending in how old your too is..There will be character bound lockbox weapons (I have a few from before they became account unlocks)

The toon is at least from 2012 if nor earlier, but I only started opening some of the lockboxes a few years back, especially since I had a couple of years break from the game, and I don't remember that item ever being character bound, and according to the wiki, the item is suppose to be account bound not character bound, and from my research this item was always like that. account bound instead of character bound. But my research could be wrong in relation to the Phased Tetryon Weapons.
Other people have had some issues with the weapons that they had "just" recieved being character bind on equip instead of account bind on equip. and it seems to Phased Tetryon Weapons that does that.

So..All lockbox weaponry was Character bound prior to the update in 2016, including these. The wiki has been updated to show them as account bound (instead of char bound) because thats what they are today.If you got that beam before they became account bound ,they are stuck on that toon. I have a few Elachi disruptors that are also char bound because I had them before that patch.None of my newer ones are.


Good news tho..All of the ones on the exchange are account bound.
