Winter ground gear randomly becoming slotted

For some reason, Melted Snowballs and the Frosted Boots are being equipped when I change maps - ROM aligned KDF alt.

While the boosts are in my main inventory, the snowballs are not.

While on Qo'nos, the boots actually became equipped while I was mid-run.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

    A few days ago, I had snowballs added to my bar on my main Fed character even though they were not in my inventory. I took them off my ground bar and was OK. Did not have frosted boots show up like that though. Weird! Don't know if that is a bug or a glitch. Hmm.
