the thing that bugged me was the drastically different difficulty levels in the TFO. some were a literal cake-walk and others I died 4-6 times.
I'm assuming that it's scaling due to player levels but damn... one shotted by the face huggers is rediculous, especially with full shields
If it turns out that future events are going to be like this, not just the elachi ship event, I know I'll be saddened. I'm one of those who has a bunch of alts, and I used the events to give them an influx of dil via doing the project on each pylon. Yes, I know that Admiralty pays better, but slotting ships for 8 projects, and cycling through that with each pylon gets old real fast. So I used the projects to get marks and dil, while interacting with the game(whether it was via ship or ground combat). It was my way. And it was a means to feed my fleet's dilithium requirements in lump sums.
The only patrols that I really do are Sentinels, Ruins of Doom, and the one where you babysit ships that clean up J'ula's(or however her name is spelled) climactic love juice messes. The TFO is...okay, certainly the most tolerable means to get the daily progress...And to me, the episode is subpar at best.
